Arthur L. Koch was a United States (US) military officer who enlisted in 1898. He served with the 1st and 20th Infantry in the US, Cuba, and the Philippines from 1898-1902. For the next three years he was in the coast artillery in Cuba and at Fort Washington. He served with the engineers in the Philippines, Fort Mason, Honolulu and Washington for the next five years.
